CLOSECHASE FIELD NOTES

Practical ideas. Clear boundaries.

The CloseChase Field Notes are an independent resource for small bookkeeping practices.

Our purpose

We write about collecting the information needed before bookkeeping can begin: specific requests, manageable checklists, considerate reminders, honest status labels and useful handovers. The aim is a process a small team can explain to a client without another long meeting.

How content is created

Articles are drafted with software assistance and checked against the cited primary-source documentation for factual context. They are original editorial material, not copied vendor guides or customer case studies. AI assistance is used in preparing this site’s content; the product does not use an AI API to process client data.

Worked examples and business names are fictional. We do not invent testimonials, customer counts, commercial results or guarantees of time saved. Each article includes its update date and relevant sources. We revise material when a supported correction is received.

What these guides do not do

They do not prescribe tax deadlines, legal retention periods, accounting treatment or regulatory compliance. Ask a qualified professional about those decisions in your jurisdiction. A checklist supports your workflow; it does not replace judgment or review.

Commercial relationship

This resource is published alongside CloseChase, an early-access document-follow-up product. Links to the product are identified. There are no affiliate links or paid endorsements in the current guides. Advertising may be introduced after platform approval and applicable consent setup; no advertising scripts are active today.
